Welcome to Mrs. Haase's website.....
Welcome
to a new school year! I am excited to have you in class and I am excited about
all of the wonderful educational material we will be learning about this year!
A
little about myself…growing up on a small farm near Yankton, SD, I had a passion for horses. My father trained horses professionally so during the summer months we traveled around the state showing competitively. During my sophomore year of high school, I qualified for the American Junior Quarter Horse Association World Show held in Tulsa, Oklahoma. It was a memorable moment as my yearling gelding and I placed 6th in the world. I continued to have many more memorable years of showing horses and made countless friends along the way. After graduation from Yankton High School, I attended Mount Marty College in Yankton, SD. One of my many highlights from college was being crowned Lady Marbenette XXXII (homecoming queen). I value my Benedictine, liberal arts education because it has helped shape the person I am today.
This will be my 26th year of teaching and my 19th year here at Scotland Middle School. I also directed the high school spring plays; please refer to the "spring play" tab to view pictures. I love teaching in the Scotland School District and am glad to call it "home."
My husband is John and we have two
daughters: Addison and Macee. We enjoy the many activities that the girls are involved in. One is 4-H which keeps us busy making crafts and showing lambs and cattle! During my "down time," I love to garden, read a good book, sing, and spend time with family/friends.
If you have any questions or concerns, please let
me know. I look forward to helping you be the best you can be!!
